Holy Week Restrictions To Begin At Midnight 25/03 In Most Autonomous Communities.

The vast majority of the Autonomous Communities will begin to apply their restrictions for Holy Week from midnight tonight, after the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System ruled out modifying the measures during the easter festivities. Some like Andalusia however, have been applying the measures for a week now and others will simply extend the measures that were already in force, although they warn that they could be tightened in the event that the epidemiological situation worsens.

Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, stated that the restrictions agreed with the Autonomous Communities is a minimum agreement, accordingly autonomous governments will be able to further tighten measures such as extending curfew times, closing perimeters or closing down non-essential activity should circumstances dictate.
