Hague Apostilles & Sworn Translations for Spanish Visa Applications

We arrange Hague apostilles and certified translations for UK-issued documents required for Spanish visa applications, including Non-Lucrative, Student and Digital Nomad Visas.
What We Do

-
Arrange Hague apostilles for UK-issued documents, including ACRO Police Certificates, ICPC, DBS certificates, birth, marriage and death certificates, medical certificates, notarial acts and similar documents.
-
Solicitor certification (where required): Some documents, such as A-level certificates, diplomas, DBS certificates and certain HMRC letters, must first be certified by a solicitor before an apostille can be issued. If you're unsure, we'll advise you on the correct option.
-
Official sworn translations from English into Spanish, prepared by qualified sworn translators recognised by the Spanish authorities.

-
-
What Happens Next
-
We arrange the Hague apostille through the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
-
Your document is translated by a qualified sworn translator recognised by the Spanish authorities.
-
We return everything to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Medical Certificates from your GP—Important
-
The FCDO will only legalise a medical certificate if the doctor’s signature is pre-registered with them. Nearly half of all NHS GPs are not.
-
If you supply your own medical certificate and it is rejected by FCDO, the fee is not refundable. Consider using our in-house medical certificate service if time is tight. Medical certificates arranged through our partner doctors are prepared to meet FCDO apostille requirements.

Costs & Timelines
-
Hague Apostille (arranged through the FCDO) + Sworn Translation (one document): £100
-
Six to eight working days once we receive your original documents - 99% of cases. However, occasionally the FCDO may not have the official’s signature on file and will need to request it directly from the issuing body (applies only to ACRO, ICPC, marriage, birth, or death certificates). This will delay the issuance of the apostille.
-
Add one to two working days for Royal Mail delivery back to you.
-
Extra solicitor certification, if required, adds extra days.
-
-
Sworn translations only: £35 per page – usually completed within one to two working days. Processing times may be slightly longer during July and August and will depend on the volume of translations received.
-
Hague Apostille only (one document): £85
The apostille is issued per document or signature, while translations are charged per page. If your document has more than one page, remember to add the extra pages at checkout; otherwise, only the first page will be translated.
