TIE Appointment in Spain
Get Your Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero

Step-by-Step Help with Booking Your TIE Card Appointment in Spain
Once your Spanish visa is approved, the next essential step is obtaining your TIE card – the Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero, which confirms your legal residency in Spain.
What Is the TIE Card and When Do You Need It?
After receiving your Spanish visa, you have:
-
90 days to enter the country
-
30 days from your date of entry to apply for your TIE appointment
The TIE application must be attended in person—you cannot send a representative. This is because your fingerprints will be taken, and you must also collect the card in person, typically about 4 weeks after your appointment.
