You may apply for the Non-Lucrative Visa directly through official government channels (BLS International/Spanish Consulate) at the official rates listed below.

Official 2026 Consulate Fees for UK Citizens

For UK citizens applying in 2026, the official government fees are:
Consular Visa Fee (UK Nationals)£516.00 – £561.00*

*Fees vary slightly based on the Consulate (London vs. Edinburgh) and the current Consular exchange rate.
GoSpain helps you prepare, organise and compile the supporting documents required for your Spanish Non-Lucrative Visa (NLV) consular appointment. This includes requesting ACRO Police Certificates (with your written authorisation), medical certificates and civil documents from the relevant issuing authorities, as well as arranging apostilles and certified translations. GoSpain prepares application documents and provides guidance. We do not issue, process or approve visas or government documents, and we do not represent any government authority. We prepare your document package for you to submit to the Spanish Consulate, which is solely responsible for assessing and deciding visa applications.

Includes standard document procurement, certified translations, apostilles, application form preparation, letter of intent and expert guidance throughout the process.

Please note: Private health insurance cost is not included in our service fee. Spanish Consulate/BLS visa application fees are also not included and are payable separately at the time of your appointment.

Please have the following information ready:

Passport details (Your passport must have at least 1 year of validity remaining as of the date of your visa appointment. Please note: Only passports issued within the last 10 years are considered valid, regardless of the expiry date.)

Your address history for the past 10 years

Your intended address in Spain. Proof of the address is not required. You may use the address of a friend or family member, or an address from a property listing on Booking.com (or a similar website). There is no need to make a booking.
Please note: We can only request UK-issued documents (excluding Gibraltar) and arrange UK apostilles. If you were married outside the UK or in Gibraltar, you will need to obtain a recent marriage certificate and an apostille from the country where the marriage took place. Where required by the Spanish Consulate, the apostille should be dated within three months of your consular appointment.
